lost a total of 22 inches off my body and over 10lbs in fat!

I have always been keen on sport and the outdoors (mountain biking & hill-walking most weekends) so have a reasonable level of fitness. Unfortunately due to work commitments at the end of 2009 I spent a lot of time away from home and the lack of regular exercise and too much hotel eating started to tell, my clothes were beginning to shrink!

At the beginning of 2010 I was able to get back to my local leisure centre doing 2 spin classes and circuits/boot camp twice a week and in April I starting running and at my first 5km time trial staggered in at a time of 27:58.

 Between April and July although I was starting to feel fitter there was no noticeable change in my weight or shape. However, that was to change when in July I signed up for a 12 session Kettlebell course with Pete. These 30 minute sessions replaced a 45 minutes spin class and an hour of circuit's and what a result - not only am I stronger but leaner as well. I have lost a total of 22 inches off my body and over 10lbs in fat!

Pete's training sessions provided the key to unlock my fitness plateau and in September I clocked up a time of 25:39 in the 5km time trail - 2 minutes 19 seconds off the clock in less than six months! 

For me I honestly believe that I won't have had these results without the Kettlebells. They are the best tool for improving strength and endurance, fat burning and the added bonus of no time consuming trips to the gym. Each session Pete varies the routines, teaching you the correct techniques and then putting them into action through a series of exercises.
 
 You can't hide and there's no let up, but it's worth every drop of sweat to see such great results. I have received lots of compliments from family, friends and colleagues amazed at the transformation in my physique. The phrase “double the results in half the time” couldn’t be more true!  I’m so pleased I took the plunge and contacted Pete, a fantastic result that I wouldn’t have achieved without him or kettlebells.

Before

Since having my daughter almost five years ago I have always thought about getting in shape again. Problem was, this was a far as it went! I would try the odd diet, last about a week then creep back into over eating. Exercise was also something that I was going to start "next week". Basically, all the excuses there are, I gave! I was unhappy with the way my figure looked but became trapped in the vicious circle of comfort eating.

 

 

 

After

It was through a friend I heard about Pete's kettlebell bootcamps. I decided that it was worth a go and it may give me the kick start I needed. I can honestly say it has been the turning point for me. To begin with the classes were a little shock to the system as my body was not used to exercise, however, with the encouragement from Pete and a little will power, it became easier, and I enjoyed it!! The diet is also manageable and in the first week I had lost enough weight to give me the incentive to continue. With the help from Pete and the others in the class I achieved far more than I ever imagined I would losing a total of 15 pounds over the 4 weeks! It has given me a new lease of life as I now feel fitter, more confident within myself and so much more healthy. To anyone thinking that they can't exercise, lose weight or apprehensiveto join a class, then I am proof that it does work, and if I am able to then, with the help of Pete, you can too.

Toned up and slimmed down dramatically

I started doing Kettlebells in June this year and I have to say have been absolutely delighted with the results, especially considering I only spend 1.5 hrs working out per week! Exactly like the strapline says "Twice the results in half the time"

I have toned up and slimmed down dramatically in all the right places! Its given me the shape I've always wanted but didn't know was in there! 

It has significantly improved my strength and also cardio fitness. Its a really great full body workout that incorporates all the muscle groups and I look forward to every session and am always motivated to try new excersises and lift heavier kettlebells.

I was slightly concerned initially as the one thing I didn't want to do was bulk up. But kettlebells have blown that myth out of the water, heavy weight, low reps is definitely the way forward and I recommend it to anyone who really wants to tone up and slim down.

Pete always gives a good workout whether one to one, or in his classes, he keeps a note on eveything he does so his workouts are always varied and always a challenge !

I have lost two stone in Weight and dropped two dress sizes

Having looked back at a few holiday snaps from Late in 2009, I was shocked at the realisation I had consistantly gained weight for a couple of years, I decided that it was time to lose some weight and change my fitness regime that at the time was non existant. I started training with Pete and he introduced me to kettlebells. In the initial weeks training was tough but the kettlebell training gave some very good results that were noticible in a short space of time.

Having had one Personal trainer before in the more traditional manner, when Pete suggested the kettlebells I was unsure whether they would be able to accelerate my weight loss and fitness in the way that was promoted.......how wrong was I?

I have had significant results over the summer months and in all since starting the training with kettlebells I have lost two stone in Weight and dropped two dress sizes.

The training regime also helped me to give up smoking as the results that were acheived have encouraged me to change my whole outlook on my health

I am fitter and more focused on achieving results, and that extends not just to the kettlebell training but in running my business and my home life I have lots more energy have kissed good bye to smoking, and gained all the health benefits that come with the kettlebell training.

If you want a new challenge and want to get fit then this is definitely for you. 

Over the years I have tried various different training regimes, personal training and diets but never had any consistent results. However, I have been kettle-bell training with Pete for the past 3 months and have managed to lose weight, tone up and noticed that my energy levels have increased dramatically.

Whenever I train with Pete I always find him to be motivating and supportive.

The sessions are varied and interesting and Pete is always responsive to my particular needs each week and is willing to be flexible depending on the type of week I have had. This is a bonus as I am a self-employed.

I am seeing fantastic results in both weight and inch loss

Kettlebell training is a really good way to train. It gives you a great work out with lots of different moves and this makes it challenging and never boring!

Pete is an excellent personal trainer. Difference in my weight and body shape even after just 4 weeks

I wanted to get in shape for my wedding at the end of April and it was suggested to me to try kettle bell training.  I have found it amazing and noticed a difference in my weight and body shape even after just 4 weeks of training.  I do 3 half our sessions a week and thoroughly enjoy every session.  My general fitness and strength have improved so quickly, I am really pleased with the results and have signed up for another month!  I would recommend Kettle Bell training and Pete to anyone of any age.  I know my dress will look great now on the day! Kettlebell training is superb for cardio vascular fitness as well as burning calories

Since an injury last summer and the loss of my running partner who went travelling, I have really struggled to motivate myself to exercise. I started Kettlebell training with Pete in November ‘09, slightly sceptical but up for a new challenge. I needed something new and exciting to re-invigorate my desire for exercise.

The sessions are enjoyable, varied and hard work, which is exactly what I want from my work out. Pete ensures your form is correct and motivates you to go that extra mile and burn those extra calories.  On my own this just would not happen! Kettlebell training is superb for cardio vascular fitness as well as burning calories. It has helped me tone up and strengthen muscles I previously didn’t realise I had!

Improvement in our stamina, fitness, strength and most importantly for us, toning

I read about ketllebells in a magazine and wanted to try it out so got in touch with Pete.  He advised of the benefits before inviting myself and my sister (who had a baby six months ago) to the gym for an induction session.  Pete was really friendly and professional from the outset and not only trained us on kettlebells but gave us tips on our diet and other forms of exercise.  There is no pretending that Kettlebells is not tough but with Pete's guidance my sister and I have achieved a noticeable improvement in our staminafitness, strength and most importantly for us, toning.  We have both literally lost inches from our legs, tummy's and arms.  I have done a lot of different exercise methods but this is by far the most fruitful.  Thanks for all your help Pete!

I have lost 9 inches from my body

I have been Training with kettlebells for  2 months now, with personal trainer Pete Luffman.
It is very challenging and I was not the fittest of people when I started. Since training with Pete I have noticed my posture is much better, I have toned all over my body and I have more energy than ever before. Over the months of training I took 
measurements and am delighted to find I have lost 9 inches from my body

It really is great fun!

I have trained as far back as I can remember, with running being my passion. This has taken its toll on my knees and back. The running I once enjoyed, became painful and numerous costly sessions at the chiropractor were required. I first met Pete when he was still at his gym. I spoke with him about exercises to improve core strength. He suggested trying the kettlebell classes, I can honestly say I have never looked back since. I was already quite fit and was surprised at how much my fitness level had improved when I went out running again. It was pain free and relatively easy. It was not something that I expected, after time away from running. The added bonus was that my muscle tone improved. If you do not like hard work then this isn't the class for you. If you do, and want results, then join us. It really is great fun.
